Grant Thornton Announces New Partners and Principals, Promotes Professionals to Managing Directors

Grant Thornton, one of the top seven accounting firms in the country, has recently welcomed a new class of partners and principals, as well as promoted a group of professionals to managing directors. The firm, which operates as an alternative practice structure, made these changes effective Aug. 1 following a significant private equity investment from New Mountain Capital.

The newly admitted partners and promoted professionals come from both Grant Thornton Advisors LLC and Grant Thornton LLP, with a focus on non-attest and attest services, respectively. The largest number of professionals promoted (44%) practice in audit and assurance at Grant Thornton LLP, showcasing the firm’s commitment to excellence in this area.

Among the newly admitted principals and managing directors are professionals from various areas such as tax, advisory, and internal services, spread across different markets in the country. The diverse group of leaders will help drive Grant Thornton’s momentum as the firm approaches its 100th anniversary, combining dynamic client services with a unique work environment for its employees.
