e-Crime Bureau Awarded Tier-1 Cybersecurity License in Ghana: A Milestone Achievement

e-Crime Bureau, Ghana’s leading cybersecurity company, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving its Tier-1 cybersecurity license from the Cyber Security Authority. This achievement comes after a rigorous compliance process as mandated by the Cyber Security Act 2020.

The presentation of the licenses took place at the CSA offices, with the Director-General and a Board Member of the Authority presiding over the ceremony. The CSA’s objective is to ensure that cybersecurity service providers meet all legal requirements before offering their services.

He also warned against operating without a license, as it is a violation of the Cyber Security Act.

e-Crime Bureau, with its state-of-the-art digital forensics laboratory, has been at the forefront of cybersecurity initiatives in Ghana. The Bureau has successfully intervened in various incident response situations, preventing financial losses and protecting critical infrastructure.

By obtaining the Tier-1 license, e-Crime Bureau has solidified its position as a compliant institution with certified cybersecurity experts. The Bureau’s Principal Consultant expressed gratitude for the opportunity and credited the achievement to the team’s dedication and commitment.
