11th Annual Governance, Risk, and Control Conference to be Held in Austin, TX in 2024
ISACA and The Institute of Internal Auditors to Host 11th Annual GRC Conference in Austin, TX
AUSTIN, Texas– ISACA and The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) are gearing up to present the 11th annual Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC) Conference on 12-14 August 2024, in Austin, TX, and virtually. This conference will focus on core GRC and internal audit principles and will feature global leaders in governance, risk, and control.
The conference will offer sessions that delve into how GRC principles intersect with cybersecurity, data, technology trends, building professional teams, and personal career development. Attendees can expect discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence, zero trust architecture, board communication, supply chain management, process mining, blockchain, data privacy, and more.
Three keynote presentations will be a highlight of the event. AI futurist Zack Kass will demystify AI and prepare attendees for an AI-augmented future. Rachel Wilson, head of cyber security for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, will emphasize the importance of resilience in the face of evolving cyber threats. Justin Forsett, entrepreneur and former NFL running back, will share his journey from the NFL locker room to successful entrepreneurship.
A general session featuring ISACA Chief Membership Officer Julia Kanouse and IIA Executive Vice President, Brad Monterio, will take place on Wednesday, 14 August. This session will cover setting oneself up for success, discussing session takeaways, the future of the profession, and more.
Additionally, two pre-conference workshops will be held in-person on Sunday, 11 August. Attendees can earn up to 16 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) credits for attending the conference and an additional 8 CPE credits for attending a pre-conference workshop.
